As part of the XII Astana Economic Forum, open lectures “AEF Talks” were held at the Astana International Campus platform of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) with the participation of experts in the fields of urban
planning, global economy and innovation.

The aim of the event is to start an open discussion and exchange the experience in the field of international economics for the purpose of continuing professional development and increasing the human capital index in Kazakhstan.
During the AEF Talks, speakers discussed such topics as the fourth industrial revolution, sustainable development future of cities, future of Work and Pay. Also, the speakers shared their vision of the future of the industry and urban planning. The event was attended by Jeffrey Sachs - Professor, Director of Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, winner of the 2015 Blue Planet Award, Vladislav Inozemtsev - Director of the Center of Post-Industrial Society Studies, member of the Scientific Council, Russian International Affairs Council, Nicolas Gutierrez - Managing Director and Head of Resources and Industry X.0 department, Accenture in Russia And Mariya Grigoryeva, Managing Director, head of «Technologies» department, Accenture in Russia.

AEF Talks were organized with the support of the AIFC Bureau (BCPD Ltd.), the Institute for Economic Research, NC “Astana EXPO-2017”, and Kazmedia Center (Media School).
